The Brisbane Lions have made two changes ahead of their Round 2 clash with Geelong this Sunday at the Gabba, with Rohan Bewick and Jordan Lisle recalled to senior team to replace Tom Rockliff (suspension) and Ryan Harwood (shoulder).

Bewick, who was the senior team’s travelling emergency in Round One, has been named in the forward pocket for his appearance in 2014.

Lisle, meanwhile, played a key role in defence for the Lions Reserves in their NEAFL practice match last Saturday, and could find himself at either end of the ground.

Jack Crisp, Jackson Paine and Nick Robertson, who were also part of the Lions’ initial 25-man squad named on Thursday, are the team’s three emergencies.

It promises to be a big day for Daniel Rich and Jack Redden, who will both reach their 100-game milestones this Sunday at the Gabba.

Remarkably, it will be Redden’s 100th consecutive game since making his debut in 2009.

Trent West is also set to line up against his former side Geelong for the first time since moving to Brisbane over the off-season.

Fans are encouraged to stick around after the senior game at the Gabba to watch the Lions Reserves take on the Sydney Swans Reserves in their NEAFL season opener starting from 3:20pm.
