Like the Lions, the Suns have their own injury worries with leaders David Swallow and Nick Malceski both being ruled out of QClash 9 due to knee injuries.
The Suns have revealed today that Swallow has strained his posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and will miss a minimum of eight to 10 weeks. Malceski has knee soreness and will miss two weeks.
On top of this, Suns tall forward Sam Day will also be unavailable after dislocating his elbow playing in the NEAFL over the weekend.
The Suns are also yet to confirm the progress of Captain Gary Ablett's shoulder injury.
