After his stellar performance at the weekend, Brisbane Lions midfielder and former Blues player, Mitch Robinson, was applauded for his conduct both on and off the field.
Robinson was in the thick of it against his former club, recording 33 disposals and a career-high 15 tackles, to seal a 64-point win for the Lions.
Robinson: "I'm knuckling down"
Speaking on the AFL’s Access All Areas Gary Lyon said:
“Mitch Robinson said enough is enough. He had a mass influence on turning this game and it would’ve been salt into the wounds.”
“Even worse in their own face. He goes about 33, tackling machine, manic pressure and turns the game around.”
“I admire Mitch Robinson for playing in the manner that he did.”
“You just would’ve hoped that some Carlton players stood up to him.”
