Stefan Martin says he'll likely stay with the Brisbane Lions in 2016.
And Vice-Captain Dayne Zorko and Josh Green – other players mentioned in media reports as looking elsewhere – both confirmed they would be at the Gabba next year.
Zorko and Martin, along with Dayne Beams and Mitch Robinson, shared the Merrett-Murray Medal as the Lions' best and fairest on Saturday night.
Martin said: “I've got some life circumstances going on and that's the only reason I'd want to leave the Club. (It's) unrelated to the club, nothing they've done, but sometimes life gets in the way.
"I do love the Club. At this stage it's looking like I'll be at the Lions, not 100 per cent, but that's where it's at, at the moment."
Zorko confirmed he had not spoken to any other club and was in no rush to extend the year he had remaining on his current contract at the Lions.
"I'll be here next year," said Zorko.
"If talks start when we get back, well I'm happy for that to happen, but I'm in no rush at the moment, (and) the Club's in no rush.”
Green was also adamant he had no interest in leaving the Club.
“I’m not going anywhere – I love it here at the Lions and can’t wait for next year,” said Green.
Out-of-contract midfielder James Aish has still not informed the club of his intentions for next year.
