The Brisbane Lions have been dealt an injury blow with key defender Harris Andrews to miss Saturday’s clash with Collingwood at The Gabba.
Andrews’ injury follows news that Captain Tom Rockliff will miss at least the next two weeks’ of football with a hamstring tear.
The Club will consult specialists to review the extent of a plantar fascia injury in 19-year-old Andrews’ foot.
“Harris has pulled up with a sore foot after the game.
“We’ve had that scanned and he’s seen a specialist as well. He’s got an issue with the plantar fascia of his foot.
“He’s definitely out this week and we’ll review it again with a specialist early next week.”

Rockliff limped off the field in the second quarter of Sunday’s 77-point loss to Port Adelaide. An MRI on Monday afternoon revealed a small tear in his right hamstring.
It continues a frustrating run for the midfielder, who has already endured back-related hamstring and calf problems in 2016.
“He’s had some problems in that area in the past so we’ll have to make sure we get the strength back into him before we get him back on the field,” Lemcke said.
“We anticipate he’ll probably miss at least two weeks at this point in time.”
Small forward Josh Green (chest) will be assessed by Lions medical staff throughout the week to determine his availability.
“He’ll need to get through training on Thursday. He’s done some contact work today so he’s looking likely to play at this stage.”
Defender Tom Cutler is on track in his rehabilitation from a dislocated shoulder sustained in the Lions’ Round 5 loss to the Western Bulldogs. He is expected to return to football in the next fortnight.
“Tom’s going really well. He’s back doing some skills work.
“It’s just a matter of making sure his strength is good enough before we put him into contact situations. He’s still probably a couple of weeks away.”
