The GWS GIANTS are producing their best Season in the Club's short history, but after their Round 16 loss to Collingwood, will be looking to redeem themselves.

Although, this could work in the Lions' favour. Last week Collingwood applied immense pressure during the game resulting in the GIANTS suffering an end to their 3 game winning streak.

Can the Lions produce the pressure they’ve been working towards all season to get a win over the GIANTS? Sunday’s game will be the test.

Darcy Gardiner (ankle), Daniel Rich (concussion) and Daniel Merrett (knee) all copped knocks against the SUNS but are expected to play. While Tom Cutler (hamstring) is on the brink of a return.

Young Lion Josh McGuinness is a 50-50 chance to be available for the Reserves this weekend, after injuring his hamstring in the NEAFL on Saturday.

There were some solid performances in the Lions Reserves' narrow loss to the SUNS.

Jackson Paine played an integral cog in the Lions backline, finishing with 26 disposals and eight marks, kick-starting several counter-attacks from deep in defence.

Nick Robertson (25 disposals, one goal) and Josh Clayton (24 disposals, 7 tackles, one goal) were major ball-winners, while Liam Dawson (15 disposals, nine tackles) chipped in with a handy two goals.

Running defender Claye Beams and midfielder Ben Keays were both strong also.
