Daniel Rich has reiterated support for Senior Coach Justin Leppitsch from the playing group and the Club amidst reports that have circled the Lions suggesting unrest between senior players and the Coach.
Rich along with fellow vice-captain Dayne Zorko yesterday categorically dismissed those rumours and got on the front foot regarding the coach's relationship with his players.
“I find it interesting, to be honest, because I’m the one spending my days between the four walls and it’s the complete opposite from my end,” Rich told SEN Radio last night.
“Our players completely support Leppa - the way he coaches, the way he acts and the person he is and he supports us.”
DZ: If you're not inside the four walls you don't understand what's going on. A bit of a shock to read the papers reporting of unrest.

Rich said recent player re-signings were testament to players’ support of the direction of the Club and it was up to the entire playing group to prove the critics wrong, starting with a solid performance against GWS on Sunday.
“We know where we’re at with a young list and where we’re developing and Leppa supports us the whole way.
“We’ve had a lot of guys re-sign – 19. That’s a huge number with a young list of interstate players. I think that speaks for itself to be honest.
“We’ve shown this year in patches when we play the way we want to play and we play the way we’re coached that we play well and can match it with the good teams.
“We did it well against Sydney, Hawthorn, West Coast – some of the best teams in the competition.”
