All Australian and under 18 Queensland captain Natalie Grider is now a Lions AFLW player, with the Club selecting her with Pick No. 22 at today’s NAB AFL Women’s Draft.

Born and bred in Brisbane, Grider started playing footy as a teenager for the

“Nat’s a Lions Academy player who was captain for Queensland this year. She’s primarily a medium-sized midfielder but really had her breakout patch at the nationals playing at half back.
“She is really good above her head for her shape and size and can win her own ball in a contest.
