The Brisbane Lions have made two further changes to their list ahead of the second list lodgement deadline with the removal of Ryan Bastinac and Jacob Allison from their primary list.

The Club has committed to reselecting both players at November’s rookie draft.

General Manager of Football David Noble said this change would maximize the Club’s capacity at the 2018 NAB AFL Draft later this month.

“During this year’s trade period we stated we were intent on going to draft, as we believe it is fairly strong,” he said.

“These changes will create more spots for us at the draft and maximise our selections as part of our overall list strategy, whilst being aware of the first year of live trading on draft night.”

The Lions have five picks at draft:  18, 30, 35, 56, 78.
