Lions Physical Performance Manager Brett Burton catches up with lions.com.au to give his weekly update on the Club’s injury list.

I’m happy to report this week that Xavier Clarke, Josh Drummond and Matt Maguire are all off the injury list and available to play.

Some members and fans may have been concerned about Daniel Rich and Rohan Bewick following last Thursday’s game against St Kilda. Richy had a minor hip complaint which is now fine - he’ll be back into training tomorrow and will be available for this weekend. Rohan landed on his back which was giving him some grief but this also appears to be minor and Rohan should be available to play this weekend also. We’re going to test him at training tomorrow.

Bart McCulloch
Bart is progressing well from his quad injury. If it was a first-time quad injury he would have been back this week, but given that he’s had a history of quad injuries, we take a bit of extra time to make sure that it doesn’t re-tear, so he’ll get a full week of training in and aim to play next weekend.

Jonathan Brown
Browny is travelling well. Basically he can physically do everything except get hit in his face, as I’ve said, so he’ll be into main training with the squad barring any contact drills.

Brent Staker
Brent is going well in his rehab. He’s on a strength program and looking to get into running in the next couple of weeks.

Ryan Lester

Callum Bartlett
Callum has returned to running. He’s reporting no soreness so that’s tracking along well.

Jamie Charman
Charmo’s progressing well with his running and will be shortly moving onto the next stage of his rehab.
