A special memorial service will be held at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on Friday 26 November to celebrate the life of Brisbane Lions Hall of Famer, Arthur Wilson.
Wilson, who sadly passed away aged 90 on Friday 12 November, will be officially farewelled nearby the Fitzroy-Brisbane Lions Historical Society Museum – a labor of love that he was responsible for constructing and preserving.
The service will run from 2pm till 5pm.
Due to capacity limits of the function space and the overwhelming response from the public, all guests who wish to attend the service are required to pre-register by emailing melbourne@lions.com.au
This is to help ensure the expected large number of people in attendance can be best managed.
It is also a requirement from the venue that all attendees are fully vaccinated. Guests will need to display their proof of vaccination certificate to be granted entry.
