The Lions VFL side has been boosted by the inclusion of three players with AFL experience for tomorrow’s clash with North Melbourne at Burpengary.
Harry Sharp returns to the side after stepping up to AFL duties in the Lions’ 22-point victory over Essendon at Marvel Stadium on Saturday.
Joining him are Jaxon Prior who was medi-sub for the Bombers game and Tom Berry who was a travelling emergency.
Taj Abberley, Bruce Reville and Charlie Offermans come out of the 23-man side and are listed as emergencies.
The Lions will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 42 point loss to Carlton at Ikon Park in round one.
They had their chances in the game and poor conversion cost them dearly while at the other end Carlton were able to capitalize on a heavy advantage in inside fifty entries.
Coach Mitch Hahn returns to steer the side after joining Chris Fagan’s panel last week where he stood in for Cameron Bruce who was unavailable for the trip to Melbourne under AFL Health Protocols.
“We want to see a response from last week and that should be built around our pressure and defensive intent,’’ Hahn said.
“We really want to bring heat inside their forward fifty and with our offensive game we want to bring back our flair and improve our ball movement.’’
