The Brisbane Lions VFL side will be looking to bounce back from a challenging loss when they face the Northern Bullants at Burpengary tomorrow.

Suffering their first loss in four weeks to Southport last Saturday, the Lions will have their sights set on a strong result against the Bullants to keep their season on track.

With an extended AFL squad announced for Sunday’s match against Fremantle, an extended VFL squad has been named.

The final VFL side will be confirmed 30 minutes before the bounce.

Fan favourite Mitch Robinson will return to the VFL this weekend after performing AFL medi-sub duties the last two weekends.

A courageous and competitive ball-winner, 'Robbo' will bring plenty of lift and energy around the contest to Friday afternoon’s clash.

Off the back of a standout performance last weekend, big-bodied midfielder Ely Smith will be looking to continue his good form.

Smith gathered 23 touches, five tackles, five clearances and one goal in one of his strongest performances so far this season.
