The AFL Commission yesterday advised the Brisbane Lions it would be awarded a Priority Pick after round one (currently pick 19) for the 2016 NAB AFL Draft, under the Special Assistance Rule.
There have been some pretty handy #19 draftees in AFL history.

1995 National Draft - Barry Hall
St Kilda/ Sydney / Western Bulldogs
Barry Hall was drafted to St Kilda in 1995 and went on to become one of the best forwards of the modern era. Hall, a three-time all Australian, led his club's (St Kilda, Sydney, Western Bulldogs) goal kicking tally on eleven occasions and captained the Swans 2005 premiership side. He is the first player to kick 100 goals for three AFL teams.

1998 National Draft - Nick Davis
Collingwood/Sydney
"I see it but I don't believe it..."
Nick Davis' career is most remembered for his performance in the final quarter of the 2005 second semi-final between Geelong and Sydney. Originally drafted by Collingwood as a father-son pick in 1998, Davis kicked the last four goals of the game after they trailed by 23-points early in the fourth quarter to send Sydney into a preliminary final.

Melbourne

2003 National Draft - David Mundy
Fremantle
Fremantle captain David Mundy has played 251 games for the Dockers. The strong-bodied midfielder received All Australian selection in 2015, was Fremantle's best and fairest winner in 2010 and runner-up in 2013 and 2015.

2007 National Draft - Callan Ward
GWS Giants
Giants co-captain Callan Ward played 60 games for the Bulldogs before moving to GWS at end of the 2011 season.
He won the inaugural GWS best and fairest award and was runner up in 2013 and 2014.

Hawthorn
