The Brisbane Lions will mark the return of the footy season with their annual Australia Post Community Camp, being held on 10-11 February.
The 2015 Community Camp will see Lions players head to the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas, kicked off with a pit stop at one of the region’s most famous attractions ‘The Big Pineapple’. Players will be visiting a number of Sunshine Coast-based local schools, and junior football clubs to help promote AFL and also meet the local community.
The action-packed agenda will also feature a FREE Beach Brekky at Alexandra Headlands Surf Life Saving Club on Wednesday 11 February from 6-9am. Fan will be able to join the players for brekky, plus there’ll be lots of great activities for the whole family, including inflatables, beach activities, an appearance by Bernie Gabba Vegas, great giveaways, and the chance to meet all your favourite players and get their autograph and photo. If you’re in the Sunshine Coast area, be sure to start your morning fresh and head down early so you don’t miss out on any of the action!
Don’t forget that junior AFL sign on day is on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 February, so make sure you get down to your local clubs to sign on! You can also sign up online at any time at your local Club.
