MATCH FACTS
The Brisbane Lions have won eight and drawn one of their 16 matches against the Kangaroos for a winning percentage of 53 per cent.
The Kangaroos boast the fifth best record against the Lions since 1997. Only West Coast, Sydney, Port Adelaide and Richmond have better win/loss records against the Lions.
Ben Fixter will play his 50th AFL match this week against the Kangaroos. Fixter played 27 matches over six seasons with the Sydney Swans after making his debut in 2000. He was selected by the Lions in the 2005 AFL Pre-Season Draft and has played 22 of a possible 25 matches with the club.
The Lions have conceded the least amount of points in the competition so far this year after the first three rounds (190 points).
Jonathan Brown booted 8 goals and took 16 marks against Hawthorn in the Lions’ only visit to Carrara last year.
LAST TIME THEY MET
The Lions came from behind to snatch a one point victory over an inaccurate Kangaroos side at Telstra Dome thanks to a vintage performance from former captain Michael Voss.
