The Round 3 match between the Sydney Swans and Richmond at the SCG, will now be played as a night match on Saturday April 10 starting at 7:10pm EST while the game between Port Adelaide and the Brisbane Lions at AAMI Stadium will now be played as a day game on the same day starting at 2:40pm local time (3:10pm EST).
The Lions' away match against the Power was initially scheduled to be played on Saturday night at AAMI Stadium.
The change comes after the NSW government asked the AFL to consider a change for the SCG game so that it did not clash with the major race meeting - the AJC Derby - to be held at Randwick Racecourse that same day.
Lions members and supporters are advised to make note of the change to the initial 2010 AFL Premiership Season Fixture.
