Lions players accept melee sanctions
Michael Rischitelli and Sam Sheldon have accepted sanctions handed down by the AFL Match Review Panel.
Both players were charged with a first offence for engaging in a melee at half-time during last Saturday night's match against Richmond at the Gabba.
The melee resulted in a $1,600 sanction, although the early plea reduced the penalty by 25 per cent to a $1,200 sanction.
Richmond pair Jake King and Jack Riewoldt were also cited for the same incident and received identical penalties.
