The Brisbane Lions will be without forward, Lincoln McCarthy for the Rd 24 clash with St Kilda due to a calf strain sustained in Friday night’s win over Collingwood at Marvel Stadium.
McCarthy finished the game on the bench and did not train with the squad at Brighton Homes Arena on Tuesday.
Lions VFL player, Noah Answerth, who recently returned from a facial injury, suffered a season ending shoulder injury during the Lions two-point VFL win over the Casey Demons.
The Club continues to assess forward, Jack Gunston’s knee injury to determine the best course of action for a possible return during the finals. Gunston sustained a MCL strain of his left knee during the Lions Rd 22 win over Adelaide.
