It's the best month of the year!
September is here and we're pretty bloody keen.
A sold out Gabba awaits as we prepare to host Port Adelaide in a Qualifying Final.
For the winner, a week off and a home Prelim. For the loser, a Semi-Final clash against either GWS or St Kilda.
Here's everything you need to know before bounce!

Next sub-heading...
We're excited about...
Sold Out Gabba
Goes without saying doesn't it!
The Gabba crowd is the 24th player (including the sub for all those who think we got it wrong) in the Lions team and at capacity, your voices are deafening in the best way.
We'll need every one of your cheers, chants and cries on Saturday night if we're to secure a home Preliminary Finals spot, so if you can't get there... just get there!
Charlie 200
In an occasion fit for a king, it only seems fit that Charlie Cameron, the King of Brisbane, will run out for his 200th game tonight.
A crowd favourite, a Club favourite and a show stopper at his best, we'll be hoping to see the best of 'Chuck' in game 200.
The AFL put it perfectly yesterday when they said:
"If since 1997 when this club took on the Lions nickname some all-time greats have called it home ..."
"Then none – Vossy, Aker, Browny, Blacky included - have been able to get a Gabba crowd to reach peak noise more often Charlie Cameron."
Go well Chuck! We'll all be cheering for you.
Jack Payne's 50th
Charlie's not the only one running out for a milestone this weekend.
Jack Payne will hit the half century on Saturday night (and that seems like it's flown!).
Having cemented his place in the 22 this year, Payney's impact cannot be understated.
A man mountain and still just 23, the future is bright for our key defender and we'll certainly need all his strength!
Match-ups we're keen for
Josh Dunkley vs Zak Butters
Much has been said about where the game may be won, but the midfield is where the battle will be at its fiercest.
Having just won the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award and an All-Australian blazer, Port mid Zak Butters will be looking to continue his red hot form on Saturday night.
In his way will be our very own Josh Dunkley.
In his first Finals appearance in Lions colours, Dunks' defensive game will be key to stopping the power and speed of Butters.
We can't wait!
