Well Lions fans, we've made it!
We've made it to the last weekend in September, and you're all invited.
But don't fret, if you can't make it down to Melbourne for the Grand Final, there's plenty of other things happening around the country that you can get involved in.
Tuesday
Main training at Brighton Homes Arena is open to the public! Come along and watch your favourite Grand Finalist get prepped for the big dance. While you're here don't forget to buy a sausage sizzle, buy some Grand Finalist merch, and get your baby's forehead autographed. Training runs from 9:30-11am
If you're here early to get a park, a players press conference will be on from 8:45am so come along and give it a watch.
Wednesday
Alright Victoria today's your day! The AFL Footy Festival opens up in Yarra Park! it's operational from 9:30am-5:00pm. Will obviously get busier as the week goes on, but still might be worth chucking a sicky for.
We're also setting up our own Lions Shop at Fitzroy Town Hall! Come on down and purchase the latest merch, or you could even buy online and pick up from this outlet too.
Thursday
AFL’s Grand Final Fever will hit Brisbane’s iconic South Bank with a public activations Live Site on the Riverside Green. Activities include AFL clinics, inflatable AFL handball targets, face painting, and an AFL public activation. Participants can also visit the Brisbane Lions merchandise stall, register for NAB AFL Auskick, Superkick, AFL Nines and Community Football, and get photos with Brisbane Lions mascots. Open: 10am – 3pm Thursday and Friday, 10am – 1pm Saturday.
Lions Shops will be open at Brighton Homes Arena, Gate 2 at the Gabba, South Bank Parklands.
Friday
2023 Toyota Grand Final Eve, and a day full of events!
Come on down to Open Training at the MCG to watch the boys in their final preparations for the big dance. Enter via Gate 1 from 8:15am. Training will run from 9am-9:30am.
Because this training runs so close to the Grand Final Parade, unfortunately we're unable to accomodate time for autographs and photos.
Celebrate the 2023 Toyota AFL Grand Final teams, Brownlow and Coleman medalists and more at the Grand Final Parade.
Starting at Melbourne Park Live Site, watch the Toyota HiLux motorcade make its way through Birrarung Maar and into Footy Festival at Yarra Park, concluding at Gate 3 of the MCG.
At around midday Grand Finalist team's Captains and Coaches will partake in the annual pre-game press conference and photo opportunity. The press conference will be live streamed on Lions.com from 12:01pm.
The South Bank Live Site and Melbourne Park live sites will be running, with Lions Shop merch set up at both live sites.
Lions Shop will also be running at Fitzroy Town Hall from 10am-6pm

Can't get to the MCG? Cheer the Brisbane Lions on in the 2023 Toyota AFL Grand Final with footy fans at South Bank. You can watch the game in the Piazza or have a soak and watch in the pool! It will be a day to remember.
