The Brisbane Lions confirm assistant coach Jed Adcock will depart the Club after accepting a new role with North Melbourne for the 2024 season.

Adcock, a former Lions player and captain, started his coaching career with Brisbane at the end of 2016 as the forwards coach for six seasons before switching to backline coach in 2023.

Brisbane Lions General Manager of Football, Danny Daly, thanked Adcock for his service to the Club.

“Jed has given a fantastic contribution to the Brisbane Lions as a player, captain, and assistant coach for the best part of two decades, so we thank him and his family sincerely,” he said.

“There’s no doubt that since joining the Lions coaching staff that Jed has helped play a key role in the Club’s resurgence which last weekend saw us play off in a Grand Final.

“We wish Jed all the best with the next chapter of his coaching career and his life.”
