The Brisbane Lions have made two further changes to their list after informing Caitlin Wendland and Brooke Sheridan they would not be offered contracts for 2024.
Wendland was brought in as an Injury Replacement prior to the start of 2023 NAB AFLW Season and managed three games after debuting against Collingwood in Round 6.
Sheridan rounded out the Lions squad prior to the start of the season, replacing the injured Luka Yoshida-Martin.
The Academy product was unable to break into the Lions team, but showed promise in the match simulation games played throughout the season.
“Brooke and Caitlin have just begun their AFLW journey’s and they both learnt so much here with us. With the draft next week, we hope they get another opportunity and wish them all the best.”
The Brisbane Lions have now completed their list changes for 2023 which also included the retirement of Phoebe Monahan.
