Lions fans are advised that the start time for this Sunday’s match against Melbourne at the Gabba has been changed from 3:15pm (as it appears on the fixture) to 3:20pm.
The five-minute delay has been made to accommodate the pre-game activities planned as part of the AFL’s annual ANZAC Round.
In honour of ANZAC Round, the Brisbane Lions will welcome members of the 7th Brigade to perform the pre-match ANZAC Ceremony, including the ode, the Last Post, and the raising of the flag.
The Club will also be hosting over 100 members of the 7th Brigade as guests of the Club at the match
The Lions still encourage all fans headed to the Gabba this Sunday to arrive early and pay their respects to those men and women who have served our country.
