Brisbane Lions off season recruit, Tom Doedee will make his return to football this Saturday, after being named in the Lions team to tackle Essendon in Rd 1 of the 2024 Smithy’s VFL.
Doedee makes his comeback from an ACL injury and will don Lions colours for the first time alongside new draftees Logan Morris, Luke Lloyd and Reece Torrent, following their strong pre-seasons.
Key defender Jack Payne and versatile utility Kai Lohmann have also been selected to travel to Melbourne.
Fellow new VFL recruits, Jake Lohmann and Ewan Macpherson will make their Club debuts at VFL level, while Will Martyn plays his first game for the Lions since the 2019 NEAFL Grand Final.
