Western Australian-born pair Deven Robertson and Jaxon Prior are among five inclusions to the Brisbane Lions’ squad for Sunday’s clash with West Coast in Perth.

Key defender Darragh Joyce has also been recalled and named at fullback in the absence of Jack Payne, who was today ruled out with a foot injury.

Young half-back Shadeau Brain and ruck-forward Darcy Fort round out the new additions to coach Chris Fagan’s squad.

The Lions will however be without reliable defender Brandon Starcevich who entered concussion protocols following a head clash in Sunday’s win over Adelaide.

Making being sidelined even tougher for Starcevich, another West Australian local product on the Lions' list, sees him miss out on playing in front of family and friends in his home state.

Brain, Fort, Prior and Robertson are all listed on the extended interchange along with teammates Callum Ah Chee, Jarrod Berry who plays his 150th match, Jasper Fletcher and Bruce Reville.

The Lions take on the Eagles at Optus Stadium on Sunday with the first bounce scheduled for 4:40pm AEST.

The club will announce its final team on Friday.
