Darragh Joyce will return for the Brisbane Lions as they host the GWS GIANTS at The Gabba on Saturday.
The key defender has missed the last two games with a fractured jaw, though has been cleared to play.
Joyce comes into the team for Bruce Reville who is expected to miss the next three weeks after scans on Wednesday revealed stress reaction in his fibula.
Brisbane has also made the decision not to rush back forward Eric Hipwood who missed last week’s win over St Kilda with groin soreness.
Joyce is named on the interchange alongside Kai Lohmann, Henry Smith, Zac Bailey and Shadeau Brain.
While Deven Robertson, Harry Sharp and Darcy Fort are the Lions three emergencies.
The first bounce is scheduled for 1:45pm with all the action live on Fox Footy and Seven.
