Please find below an edited transcript from what was said during the Q&A session.

Patrick Karnezis:
Hey guys, Patrick Karnezis here. Happy to answer any questions…

Guest: When are told that you are the sub? Days or hours before?

Patrick Karnezis: Usually a couple days before the game you get told you are the sub.

Hannah: Hi Patrick, firstly I have to pass on a message from a mate (Jackie Chan), he wanted to give you a shout out and to say the Marcellin boys are cheering you on :)

Patrick Karnezis: Hi Hannah, say hello to him, even though I don’t personally know him. And thanks to Marcellin - I need to go pay them a visit pretty soon :)

Laura: Hi Patrick, what do you do to relax when you are not training or playing footy?

Patrick Karnezis: To be honest, it’s just sleep for me and FIFA! That’s my life outside football - and TV

Guest: Will you be the sub on Saturday against Collingwood?

Patrick Karnezis: Hey mate, not too sure yet. I have to wait and see. I’m just hoping I’m out there with the boys :)

Dom: Hey Patty, love your work! Got the 28 on my jersey. My 19 year-old Greek friend wants to know if you're single, and how to get in touch if so ;)

Patrick Karnezis: Hi Dom! That’s it mate, keep up the good work. Sorry mate, but you have to tell your friend that I am not single and she is a Greek girl as well :)

Brendan: Hey Patty, now that ‘X’ is delisted, has anyone moved in with you and Stakes?

Patrick Karnezis: Yes we’ve got a new person in - Greeny! He’s been a good addition. He loves his fat beats and loves cooking a Sheppard’s Pie.

Dale Mann: Hey mate, why were you running around kicking the football after the Essendon game last week? Did it have to do with being the sub? If so, does the sub always do that?

Patrick Karnezis: It was only because I have been sub for two weeks in a row, and before that I only played a half in the Reserves. So I haven’t had a lot of time on the track.

Laura: Do you enjoy the climate here in Queensland? Have you ever been surfing?

Patrick Karnezis: Hi Laura , yes it is really good up here compared to the cold weather in Melbourne. And sorry, but I am not a surfing person - I can’t even swim.

Mazza959: Hey Patty! Have you noticed a difference so far in your 2nd season compared to your 1st?

Patrick Karnezis: Hey Mazza, the only difference is really off-field. You are more relied upon doing things on your own, and not always been helped by coaches and welfare guys.

Hannah: Do you get disappointed as a player when other team-mates are picked to play over you?

Patrick Karnezis: To be honest, no. It’s good that there is competition, but at the end of the day we are a team and that’s the main thing

Keith: Do you think you will have stints in the midfield when you become more established in the team?

Patrick Karnezis: Maybe the day I am able to build a good engine and run a good 3km :) So at the moment, no!

Tom: Hey Patty - what's your favourite Greek food???

Patrick Karnezis: To be honest, probably a Four ‘N Twenty pie

Carly: Hey Patty, who did you look up to growing up? And which club did you barrack for? :)

Patrick Karnezis: Hi Carly, I went for Collingwood and I admired Nathan Buckley!

Alison: Marry me?

Patrick Karnezis: Hahahaha, not at 20 years old…but thanks for the offer

Brian from narrewarren: Hey Patty K, I heard you quite like the song “Horses” by big Daryl Braithwaite? Also heard you like vegemite toast in the morning, and that you like to change the music channels?

Patrick Karnezis: Hahahaha, and how do you know that Brian from Narre Warren?

Max: Hi Patrick. I attended the post-match function in Victoria after the Essendon game and it was mentioned that you had an extra-long team meeting afterwards... did you guys get a bit of a spray?

Patrick Karnezis: Hi Max, sorry mate but I wasn’t in the meeting as I was doing my extra training :)

Emma: Hey Patty, we are big fans and are so glad you are back on the field again! Just wondering was it hard coming up to Brisbane, moving away from family, friends and girlfriends??

Patrick Karnezis: Hi Emma, thanks for that :) It was hard initially, but as time went on, I became much more used to it and ever since then I have loved it

Carly: What type of music are you into? Any favourite bands or singers?

Patrick Karnezis: I like rap, RnB, house and probably 2pac is my favourite. A bit of gangster old-school rap

Jesse’s Girl: Why doesn't Jesse love my friend...she’s amazing!!!

Patrick Karnezis: Hahahaha, I will have to ask him that for you. What’s her name?

Alison: I’m greek.....just saying ;)

Jimmy P from kew: I heard you like vegemite toast and a bit of nesquik?

Patrick Karnezis: Thanks mate. I heard you like Michael Bolton?

Emma: Hey Patty, so glad your back playing again! Was it challenging stepping up from reserves??

Patrick Karnezis: Hi Emma, thanks for that. At the start it was, but it has helped me improve my game

Lola: How long have you been with your girlfriend? :)

Patrick Karnezis: Very long Lola, hahahaha

Matty from balwyn: Hey patty what do you eat in the morning for breakfast?

Patrick Karnezis: Hahahaha, toast?

Joel: Was there any particular AFL player (if not, athlete), that you admired growing up?

Patrick Karnezis: Hi Joel, I did admire Adam Goodes and Nathan Buckley from an AFL point-of-view

Caitlyn: Hey Patty! Can you describe how you felt when you scored your first goal last year?

Patrick Karnezis: Hi Caitlyn, to be honest, I can’t even remember. It happened so quickly

Alysse: Patty, I’ve enjoyed watching you this season. Who's your best mate at the club?

Patrick Karnezis: Hi Alysse, I’m mates with a lot of boys, but pretty close with Greeny, Ryan Lester, Stakes, Golbs and Retzy. A lot of us young boys are close

Eleanor: I saw your video when you smashed into the fence, that looked a bit painful!

Patrick Karnezis: Hi Eleanor, it did look painful but I tried to hold it in hahah :)

Emma: Patty, please marry me! I love you much much more than allison!!

Patrick Karnezis: I am too young, I told Hannah before! Haha

Horan_huggs: Tell Jesse to call me back ;)

Mel: Hi Patty, if you weren't playing AFL what would you like to be doing with yourself?

Patrick Karnezis: Hi Mel, to be honest I didn’t have a clear view of what I wanted to do apart from football. But I would have definitely loved to go to Uni and have a part-time job

Dom: It seems the most important question still hasn't been asked, when's the hair coming back???

Patrick Karnezis: It’s coming back very soon, patience!

Hurley: Marry Me Karnezis

Alex: Hey Patty - Stakes has mentioned your love for Jersey Shore... any chance you have gotten into Geordie Shore??

Patrick Karnezis: No Geordie shore for me, all Jersey!

DJ DAN: Yo Patty, what is your favourite thing about being part of the Lions?

Patrick Karnezis: Hey DJ, just playing football with mates and being around the club!

Meg: Hey Patty, I loved when your hair was longer…

Patrick Karnezis: Me too Meg, I made a big mistake at the start of pre-season!

weetbix kid: When you do, how many weetbix do you do??

Patrick Karnezis: Not a weetbix kid, but I had chocolate weetbix before and I got in trouble from our Physical Performance staff

Josh: Does Staker ever talk about the left hook Barry Hall gave him???

Patrick Karnezis: Nah, he doesn’t. But I mentioned it to him when I first moved in with him and he wasn’t too happy with me!

Ads: Mate I heard u are pretty good at scrambling eggs....any truth to the rumour???

Patrick Karnezis: Hahahaha, that’s not true!

Ads: Any chance you and Cornelius could be the next twin towers???

Patrick Karnezis: I hope so Ads!

Georgia: Hi, I love you. Marry me. Like, I’m not joking either

Patrick Karnezis: Nah, you’re joking Georgia!

Cait: Do you play any musical instruments? Guitar?

Patrick Karnezis: No I don’t. I played a recorder in primary school once if that counts.

Josh: If I was Staker, I would be proud to take a hit from old Barry!!

Patrick Karnezis: Hahahahaha, I wouldn’t!

Louis: I’m surprised by how nice you are :)

Patrick Karnezis: Thanks for that, hahaha

Alex: Is your lady a Brisbane girl? Or are we going to have to worry about you returning to Melbourne in a couple of years??

Patrick Karnezis: Hahahah, nah she’s not. But she might have to be a Brisbane girl :)

Dom: So you think you'll be sticking around at the club for some time yet then? Long term? How much do we need to pitch in to fly her up here?

Patrick Karnezis: Long term DOM! Nah, I’ll worry about that part. All good, hahaha

Ads: The Corn and the Karn, won't be long and we will be seeing 150 goals a season between ya's. When u getting on twitter mate???

Patrick Karnezis: Hahahaha, me too Ads. I just can’t, I’m not a big fan of Twitter. Maybe one day…

David: That behind you kicked against Essendon cost my mate a hundred dollars at the TAB. Classic!

Patrick Karnezis: Give him my apologies, and tell him I’ll give him 100 dollars if I ever meet him

Mazza959: Do you think Daniel Rich needs a haircut???

Patrick Karnezis: Nah, I don’t. I’m a big fan of it, and I reckon he should keep growing it
