Key position duo Eric Hipwood and Darragh Joyce could both be available for the Brisbane Lions when they host the GWS GIANTS at The Gabba on Saturday.
Hipwood was a late out before the weekend’s win over St Kilda due to the tall forward experiencing groin soreness. While Joyce has been sidelined for the last two matches with a fractured jaw.
Both players trained on Tuesday and will train again on Thursday before a final decision is made.
Defender Carter Michael has sustained a quad injury and young midfielder James Tunstill has entered concussion protocols following Saturday’s VFL win over Carlton.
