The Brisbane Lions AFLW side have named an unchanged team from the one which took the field against the Bulldogs on Wednesday night.
However, Lions AFLW senior coach, Craig Starcevich highlighted the fact that there was potential for late changes due to the compressed nature of the AFLW fixture.
“Having played on Wednesday night and Dakota being a very late out with illness, we made the decision to fly her to Perth a day later to provide her with another day’s rest home,” he said.
“Given the tight turn around between games we haven’t had the chance to assess her at training, same with Shannon (Campbell), so we will get a look at both of them at training this afternoon. (Team submission is due during the training session)
“There is definitely a chance for some late changes come Sunday’s game and those decisions will be made following Captain’s run tomorrow morning.”
Playing their second game in Week 4, the Lions will be looking to make it four on the trot as they tackle the Eagles in Perth.
After being a late out against the Bulldogs on Wednesday, Dakota Davidson has been named as an emergency alongside Shannon Campbell.
The Lions will play their third game inside 10 days when they meet West Coast at Mineral Resources Park.
