The Brisbane Lions have made one change for Saturday’s 2024 Toyota AFL Grand Final against Sydney with ruck Darcy Fort named to replace Oscar McInerney.
McInerney who dislocated his shoulder during the Lions Preliminary Final win over Geelong at the MCG last Saturday, travelled to Melbourne as part of the Lions squad, and will sit on the interchange bench during the Grand Final.
Senior coach Chris Fagan’s team enters the Grand Final full of belief following Finals wins against Carlton, GWS and Geelong.
The Lions interchange consists of Kai Lohmann, Callum Ah Chee, Logan Morris, Brandon Starcevich and Noah Answerth. While the three emergencies are Harry Sharp, Henry Smith and Darragh Joyce.
Saturday’s Grand Final is scheduled to commence at 2.30pm at the MCG, with the match broadcast live on Seven.
