The Brisbane Lions have strengthened its position ahead of next month’s 2024 Telstra AFL Draft after completing two separate pick swaps today with Richmond and Carlton.
The Lions first successfully acquired two of Richmond’s 2024 Round 2 selections, currently 32 and 42, as well as two of the Tigers’ 2024 Round 3 selections which are currently 43, 45.
In return Richmond received Brisbane’s 2024 Round 1 selection, currently 20.
The Lions then moved to complete another successful pick swap, this time securing Carlton’s 2024 Round 2 Selection (currently 34) and its 2024 Round 4 Selection (currently 66).
While the Blues received Brisbane’s 2024 Round 4 Selection (73) and its future 2025 Round 2 selection.
The Brisbane Lions current 2024 draft hand now includes picks 32, 34, 42, 43, 45, 60 and 66.
