The 2025 Smithy’s VFL fixture has been confirmed today as the Brisbane Lions look to prepare for another huge year. 

The Lions will kick off the season with a clash against Port Melbourne at Brighton Homes Arena with the two sides set to square off for the first time since Round 5, 2022. 

Round two will see the Lions take on Collingwood on Good Friday at Brighton Homes Arena, continuing the footy frenzy after the AFL sides meet at the Gabba on Easter Thursday night. 

A QClash in Round 6 sees the SUNS travel to Springfield while three games at Brighton Homes Arena in a row between Round 10 to 12 against Essendon, Williamstown and GWS will have Lions fans spoilt for choice in June. 

Five trips to Victoria will have loyal Fitzroy supporters licking their lips with games against Richmond in Round 3 at Holm Park, Beaconsfield, Sandringham at RSEA Park in Round 5, North Melbourne at Adren Steet in Round 7, Box Hill at Box Hill in Round 9 and Geelong at GMHBA in Round 13.
