The Brisbane Lions have confirmed three changes for Sunday’s Round two clash with the West Coast Eagles at the Gabba.

Kai Lohmann (ankle) and Brandon Starcevich (concussion) will both miss the match through injury, with ruck-forward Darcy Fort (omitted) coming out of the squad.

Fort was called up last week following fellow forward Sam Day being unavailable for selection due to the passing of his father Chris.

Day returned to training this week and impressed on the track to be named in the Lions team to play his first game for the Club.

The Lions also announced earlier today that young forward Will McLachlan will make his AFL debut on Sunday.

Exciting playmaker Bruce Reville is the third inclusion, with the 24-year-old rewarded with another opportunity at AFL level.

Reville has been named on the interchange alongside McLachlan, Callum Ah Chee, Levi Ashcroft and Conor McKenna.

The Lions three emergencies are Deven Robertson, Henry Smith and Darragh Joyce.

Sunday’s match is scheduled to start at 12:10 local time and will be broadcast live on Fox Footy, Kayo and Seven.

Lions fans are encouraged to get to the Gabba early to watch the unfurling of the 2024 premiership flag from approximately 11:30am.
