The Youi Brisbane Lions Academy under 16 Girls are in the final stages of preparation for the 2025 Marsh AFL National Championship campaign.
With games against Victoria Country and 2024 National Champions, South Australia, the Lions will be looking to go one better this time around.
After naming a strong squad including three father-daughter prospects, Lucy Ashcroft, Claudia Keating and Sierra Croad, the daughters of three-time premiership Lions Marcus Ashcroft and Clark Keating as well as premiership winning Hawk, Trent Croad.

Coached by Lions AFLW assistant coach, Paul Henriksen, the Lions will host Victoria Country at Automail Aspley Oval on Wednesday 9 April.
They will then travel to South Australia to take on the reigning champions on Tuesday 15 April at Thomas Farms Oval.
