The Brisbane Lions have received a double boost of positive news on the injury front following training today.
Defender Brandon Starcevich took yet another positive step in his recovery from concussion after joining in skills at training.
Though the Club has not set an exact timeframe for Starcevich, who hasn’t played since Round 1, to return and will continue to give him more time while increasing his training.
In further good news the Lions expect exciting forward Kai Lohmann to return this weekend as it takes on St Kilda at Marvel Stadium on Saturday.
Lohmann hasn’t played since the club’s Round 3 win against Geelong due to soreness as a result of a high ankle sprain in Round 1.
The Lions will however be without ruck-forward Henry Smith and utility Bruce Reville.
Smith has entered concussion protocols following Friday’s VFL win against Collingwood.
While scans confirmed a hamstring strain for Reville, with the playmaker set to be sidelined for three to four weeks.
