A total of 236 players have appeared in a Q-Clash – 125 in red and yellow and 116 in maroon, blue and gold – with Brisbane enjoying a 20-7 record overall and an 11-1 record since August 2018.

Brayden Fiorini’s career-high 41 possessions in Q-Clash #21 in Round 19 2021 at the Gabba is best for the Suns. Best at People First Stadium is Gary Ablett Jnr’s 38 in Q-Clash #7 and Dayne Beams’ 38 in Q-Clash #16.
Most Goals in a Q-Clash
Four players share the Q-Clash goals record at six – Brisbane’s Ash McGrath in Q-Clash #1, Gold Coast’s Charlie Dixon in Q-Clash #9, Brisbane’s Charlie Cameron in Q-Clash #18 and Brisbane’s Zac Bailey in Q-Clash #22.
Coaches
Brisbane have had only three Q-Clash coaches – Chris Fagan will be in charge for the 16th time this week, while Michael Voss and Justin Leppitsch coached six each.
The Suns have had six different coaches in the Q-Clash, including two caretaker coaches. Current Lions assistant, Stuart Dew (10) has been in charge most often for the Suns from Guy McKenna (8), Eade (5) and Damien Hardwick (2).
Record Crowds
Q-Clash #26 at the Gabba in Round 8 last year pulled the biggest crowd – 30,285. The biggest Q-Clash crowd at People First Stadium was 21043 for Q-Clash #26 in Round 20 last year.
Marcus Ashcroft Medal
Dayne Beams’ three is most Marcus Ashcroft Medals for Brisbane trailing only Touk Miller who has won four.
Jarryd Lyons (playing for Brisbane), Lachie Neale and Zorko have each won two along with Gary Ablett Jnr and Pearce Hanley.
Three players have won the medal twice in the same year - Beams in 2017, Lyons playing with Brisbane in 2021, and Zorko last year.

Debut in a Q-Clash
The Lions have blooded four debutants in a Q-Clash across its history, former Lions Jack Crisp in 2012, Sam Mayes in 2013 along with Billy Evans in 2015 and Reuben William in 2016.
More recently premiership defender Noah Answerth in 2019 and last year with Logan Morris and Bruce Reville, when Morris famously played two games in the same day, having played in the VFL at Springfield and stopped at McDonald’s for a feed on his way to the Gabba only to learn he was a very late inclusion.
Youngest & Oldest
Current Brisbane co-captain Harris Andrews is the youngest player in a Q-Clash at 18 years 142 in 2015, while ex-captain David Swallow is the Suns’ youngest at 18 years 169 days in 2011.
The oldest was Zorko last year at 35 years 169 days, while the Suns’ oldest was ex-Lion Michael Rischitelli at 33 years 214 days in 2091.
Highest Scores & Biggest Margins
The highest score in a Q-Clash is Brisbane’s 22-12 (144) at the Gabba in 2019, while the Suns’ highest is 22-7 (139) at PFS in 2016.
The lowest score is Gold Coast’s 6-7 (43) at the Gabba in the shortened games of the 2020 Covid season – two points lower than the Gold Coast’s 6-9 (45) at the Gabba last year.
Brisbane’s lowest has been 7-12 (54) at PFS in 2015.
The biggest win was Brisbane’s 91-point triumph at the Gabba in 2019, while the Gold Coast’s biggest was 64 points at PFS in 2015.
