Mitch Robinson has accepted a one-match ban for striking St Kilda's Seb Ross in the fourth quarter of Saturday's Round 1 match at Etihad Stadium.

Robinson will miss Saturday's match against Melbourne and will be back available for selection for Round 3. 

Based on the available video evidence and a medical report from the St Kilda Football Club, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct with low impact to the head.
