Brisbane midfielder Ally Anderson has been voted by the fans as the Round 4 AFLW Players’ MVP of the Week.
Anderson’s win makes her the second Lion to be voted the AFLW MVP of the Week, after teammate Kate Lutkins claimed the award in Round 5 last year.
A late run of votes secured Anderson’s victory, after her 20 disposals and five tackles in the grand final rematch proved too strong, earning 55 percent of the fan vote and edging out Round 3 winner, Adelaide’s Erin Phillips.
Phillips claimed 38 percent of votes for her 25 disposal, two-goal performance in the Crows’ 42-point victory over the previously undefeated Fremantle.
Round 1 MVP of the Week Emma King rounded out the three nominees with seven per cent of votes following her dominant ruck performance where she collected 18 hit-outs and kicked three majors.
