Collingwood proved to be the stronger side on Saturday against the Brisbane Lions, coming away with a 14-point victory at Burpengary.
The game plan leading into Round 6 was to start the game fast and strong but four early goals to Collingwood had the Lions on the back foot early on.
A better second quarter saw the Lions work their way back into the game but inaccurate kicking proved costly.
The second half saw Collingwood convert a number of opportunities inside 50 to build a match-winning lead that three late goals from the Lions couldn't overcome.

Lutkins gathered 18 disposals, four marks, three tackles and a goal late in the final quarter.
The competition around the ruck was relatively equal with Lions making 20 hit-outs to Collingwood’s 21.
