The Brisbane Lions will be looking to repeat their most recent encounter with Fremantle as they travel to Optus Stadium for Round 15.
The Lions were competitive against the GWS Giants last weekend.
Luke Hodge played his best game in his new jumper, collecting 30 disposals and providing plenty of leadership down back.
The Lions will be without key defender Harris Andrews on Sunday as he recovers from a severe concussion.
Lions ruckman Stef Martin is set to reach his 150th game milestone, while Dayne Beams notches his 50th game at the Club.
Fremantle produced their best hour of the season when they blew out the Blues a fortnight earlier.
Youngsters Brennan Cox, Adam Cerra and Andrew Brayshaw, again gave a glimpse of their potential and are expected to be fresh following their bye.
Sunday's clash will be the first time the two teams meet at Perth's new stadium.
Where and When:
Optus Stadium, Sunday July 1, 2.40pm AWST (4.40pm AEST).
The Last Five Times:
R12, 2017: Brisbane 18.13 (121) d Fremantle 9.10 (64) at the Gabba
R12, 2016: Fremantle 23.9 (147) d Brisbane 9.10 (64) at the Gabba
R14, 2015: Fremantle 13.6 (84) d Brisbane 7.6 (48) at Subiaco
R22, 2014: Fremantle 15.16 (106) d Brisbane 6.12 (48) at the Gabba
R14, 2014: Fremantle 15.15 (105) d Brisbane 3.4 (22) at Subiaco
The Six Points:
1. Brisbane thrashed Fremantle at the Gabba in 2017. The Lions dominated with 122 more disposals, 41 more marks and 18 more clearances.
2. Brisbane's win in 2017 was its first over Fremantle since 2009. Fremantle had won nine contests in a row. The Lions haven't won two in a row over Fremantle since 2008-09.
3. Another standout performance last week has seen Daniel Rich rise in the AFL Player Ratings. He surged past Shannon Hurn and is now the fourth-ranked small-medium defender, behind only Jeremy Howe, Zac Williams and Jack Crisp.
4. Fremantle has won five of seven matches at Optus Stadium this season, while they haven't lost to Brisbane in Perth since 2009.
5. A well-rested Fremantle side will be returning from their bye. While playing after the bye is often considered an advantage, this season six of 10 AFL teams coming out of a bye have lost against teams that played the week prior.
6. Stef Martin looks set to clock up his 150th AFL match at Perth's new stadium.
It's a big week for... Luke Hodge
Coming off the back of his season-best game against the Giants, Luke Hodge will be again looking to make an impact down back.
Hodge collected 164 Champion Data ranking points during Round 14, the equal second highest ranking by a Lions player this year.
Controlling a Lions defence will be a key focus for Hodge with key defender Harris Andrews ruled out due to a concussion.
If Dan McStay overcomes a shin injury this week, it can be expected he'll join Hodge in the backline alongside Darcy Gardiner.
