Captain Dayne Beams (MID, $478,000) secured the highest AFL Fantasy score of any Brisbane Lions player in Round 17, registering 95 points. Beams finished with 21 disposals, seven marks, five tackles and four clearances.
Lewis Taylor (FWD, $413,000) had one of his better games of the season against the Tigers and scored 93 AFL Fantasy Points. While Taylor couldn’t hit the scoreboard, he did gather 24 disposals and provide one goal assist.
The Lions Player of the Round and Rising Star nominee, Alex Witherden (DEF/MID, $347,000), put forth another classy performance, which resulted in 91 AFL Fantasy points. Witherden’s consistency so early in his career has been impressive, and as a result, his price has jumped by $42,000 heading into Round 18.
Dan McStay (DEF, $290,000) fell just three points shy of reaching his season-high Fantasy score, settling for 72 points in another versatile performance. McStay had a team-high 10 marks, while also producing five rebound 50s and six one percenters.
Jarrod Berry (DEF/MID, $339,000) has been hit with a $19,000 price bump after tallying 79 AFL Fantasy points, just below his season-high of 82 points.
Key forward Josh Schache (FWD, $244,000) recorded 68 AFL Fantasy points in his return to the Senior level. Schache booted two majors and worked tirelessly to collect 14 disposals and take five marks.
