Jarrad Jansen has praised Lions Senior Coach Chris Fagan for the way that he has been able to drive a shift in culture at the Club.
Speaking to Lions TV at the start of his fourth year in the AFL system, Jansen reflected:
"He’s driven the group to play on their strengths and to play on instinct. Just the way he has been able to teach the game plan, it’s been really clear across the group and we’re able to drive that in the sessions now."
The 21-year-old West Australian also singled out new recruit Hugh McCluggage for praise:
"I’ve liked Hugh McCluggage coming out of the National Draft. He’s a real smooth-mover and really composed with the footy. He’ll be one to watch for the year."

Jansen, who moved to the Lions at the end of 2015 after spending two years on Geelong's list, gave fans an insight into the status of the Lions' preparations leading into the pre-season competition.
“We’re starting to build up a bit of match play at the moment. Pre-Christmas we were getting a lot of high volume running in but now the match play has really started to ramp up.
“We’re getting that game intensity up there and that will build until the JLT Series."
The Lions will play the Gold Coast SUNS on Sunday, February 19.
