The final day of Telstra AFL Trade Period takes place tomorrow Wednesday 16 October, with plenty of trades expected to come.
So far this period the Lions have secured Cam Ellis-Yolmen, a big-bodied midfielder formerly of Adelaide and four-time premiership Hawthorn defender Grant Birchall. The Club has also gained picks 52 and 64, while losing picks 46 and 91.
The Lions are likely to be busy tomorrow with General Manager of Football David Noble telling The Roar Deal last week that the Club are hopeful of securing speedy defender Callum Ah Chee from the Gold Coast.
Noble and his team, led by List Manager Dom Ambrogio and National Recruiting Manager Stephen Conole, will have until 8:30pm AEDT to secure Ah Chee when the last day of trade takes place at Marvel Stadium.
In 2019 the Lions recruitment team have been proudly presented by Brighton Homes. They are the Club’s first recruitment partner.
