Defender Justin Clarke has been cleared of serious injury after a head clash at training this afternoon.
Clarke copped a stray knee in a pack mark contest and fell to the ground heavily at Coorparoo.
Lions medical staff rushed to his aide before he was taken to hospital in a neck brace by ambulance.
Scans revealed no break or fracture to Clarke's neck, and he was expected to be discharged from hospital tonight.
Lions officials said Clarke was in good spirits, and would be further assessed tomorrow before a decision was made on when he would return to training.
