In AFL, a single moment can change the course of the game. It’s the same in business. Everything can change in an instant. We call it the Vero Moment.

In 2016, a Brisbane Lions panel chose a number of ‘Vero Moments’ or significant milestone from each Round. Our Co-Major Partner, Vero Insurance, then asked Lions’ members and fans to vote for their favourite moment online.

Daniel Merrett wraps up Lance Franklin, saving an almost definite goal. Upon announcing his retirement recently, Merrett named Franklin and another former Swan, Barry Hall, as his two toughest opponents in his career. Whilst we just missed out on the win against Sydney, those comments from Merrett make this crucial tackle even more impressive.
