Competition leaders Sydney Swans will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing loss a fortnight ago when their quest for the NEAFL premiership resumes on Saturday morning.
The Swans dropped just their second match of the season when inaccuracy cost them dearly in a 25-point loss to the GIANTS in Round 17, who also beat them by a point six weeks earlier.
With the minor premiership all but secured, momentum and confidence heading into the finals series will be the biggest priority for the Swans.
They welcome back a number of AFL-listed players, including Jordan Dawson, Tom Derickx, Jordan Foote, Jeremy Laidler and Tyrone Leonardis, while ruckman/forward Toby Nankervis is their major loss.
Brisbane has named nine AFL-listed players after fielding just six against Aspley last week.
But the young Lions outfit will take confidence from pushing the Hornets for three quarters before fading in the last to lose by 37 points.
Tom Cutler and Michael Close have been omitted from the AFL squad and will line up in the NEAFL, with Jackson Paine and Reuben William also returning.
