SKILLS COACH Mitch Hahn believes the Lions have plenty to prove ahead of Saturday’s clash with North Melbourne that marks veteran, Jed Adcock’s, 200th game.
“We had three really good weeks before the Melbourne game, so certainly we want to get back to that energy and that excitement and that real family environment”, Hahn said.
“Showing the supporters we’re a real tight knit group – a proud club.
“We understand that we didn’t provide a good effort last week and we want to rebound from that.”
Hahn said the side will be wary of North Melbourne’s Brent Harvey celebrating his 400th match, but is confident if the Lions stick to the basics they could very well spoil North’s party.
“North have got a fair few players that are very dangerous. Especially their forward line. Petrie will come back in and Ben Brown kicked a few goals last week.
“For us, I think it’s going to be focusing on how we play footy, concentrating on the elements we can control”, Hahn said.
