NEAFL Grand Final Information
Brisbane Lions fans are advised of the following information surrounding this Sunday’s NEAFL Grand Final at Yeronga
Football fans are in for a great day out when the Brisbane Lions Reserves take on reigning Premiers NT Thunder in the NEAFL Grand Final to be played at Leyshon Park, Yeronga this Sunday.
Patrons will enjoy a full day of AFL action kicking off at 10:00am when the SEQ Women’s League take on the NSW Women’s State team in an exhibition match on oval 2.
At 10:30am Aspley and Broadbeach will run out on the main oval for the SEQAFL Cup Grand Final.
A Kids Zone will operate from 11:45am until the end of half-time with plenty of fun, free activity for kids.
There will be a Parade of Champions and club kicking challenge before the Lions and Thunder take to the field for a 2:00pm start.
Half time will feature NAB AFL Auskick, AFL 9’s and the traditional interclub sprint.
Fans are encouraged to bring their own footballs to join in the traditional after match Kick-to-Kick on the main oval.
Please note that no alcohol is allowed to be brought into the venue.
Canteens, a licensed bar and barbecues will operate during the event. All profits from the sale of the food and drinks will go back into supporting local football.
