Luke McGuane has failed in his bid to contest a rough conduct charge at the Tribunal last night.
McGuane was charged with engaging in rough conduct against the Blues’ Kade Simpson during the second quarter of Saturday’s win over Carlton at The Gabba.
An early plea would have resulted in a $1000 sanction due to McGuane’s good record, however, because the appeal failed he will now be charged $1500.
